Dancing Happily Like A Leaf

When I was younger I used to think that the life of a tree leaf must be a little bit of boring. For its whole life it never gets to move around. For the entire year of its life span it is born, raised, and it dies on the same spot on a tree. I used to pity the tree leaf. How lucky I am to be able to move around!

Of course as I grew older I started to admire the simplicity of the life of a leaf. As children and young adults we encounter so many problems in our daily life – through which we learn our lessons and mature. But nowadays we worry a lot and regret no less. A piece of leaf, on the other hand, has nothing to worry about. It is confident that the activities going on inside and around it are programmed according to what is best for the whole tree and other lives on our Earth. All leaves on a tree work together. They do not laugh at each other if they come in different shapes, sizes, or colors. When one leaf is eaten by a worm, it thinks, well, my life continues in you, little worm. I am you. Then another leaf grows up beside it.

What’s more, the life of an individual leaf does not stop when it falls towards the roots. Another kind of life starts – it starts on a journey of dancing, singing, and traveling. Therefore when I look at a little happy dancer, I can sometimes see a beautiful dancing leaf.
